Registration/Wiki Guide
To be able to make use of Arc of Light's User Wiki and add profiles, character pages, locations, setting information, etc., one must register to use the wiki first. This is a fairly simple process that will be detailed here.
1. Click this Registration Link. Odds are high you won't be using the forum you're registering for at all as everything it would've been used for has been moved either to Dreamwidth or the wiki, but access to the wiki is still tied to the forum, so it's necessary to register through it.
2. Fill out all the information necessary to register. Not that you need me to tell you, but Blue-Eyes has 3000 ATK.
3. At this point, your account will need to be activated and put into the proper permissions group for you to be able to use the wiki. An email is automatically sent to the admin when a new account is registered, so this should happen fairly quickly on its own, but if it's taking a while (like, over a day), it may have slipped through the cracks somehow, so feel free to contact an admin at that point.
And that's it! When your account is properly activated and placed in the right group, you'll be able to immediately start creating and editing pages on the Wiki. A couple tips for using the wiki:
• Obviously, the wiki runs on MediaWiki, not HTML, so the formatting is different. If you're unsure how to get a particular bit of formatting to work, simply go to any page with that formatting and click Edit to peek under the hood and experiment with the formatting until you know how to do what you want to. Just make sure not to save any changes to any pages you mess around with.
